Through 14 shows over six days, 101 comedians from across the US and Canada vie for the title, 50 weeks of comedy-club bookings, and a CD-recording deal with Uproar Entertainment. It all kicks off with 45 comics dispersed in three Wildcard shows on Monday, September 21, from which only eight graduate to a slot in upcoming shows throughout the week. The top two performers from each Tuesday–Friday night move on to Saturday’s finals. Audiences can help determine who makes the cut by assigning each comic a score of 1–5. Past winners of the comedy tournament include Andrew Norelli, Ryan Dalton, Landry, Thai Rivera, Spencer James, and the attendees.
