The interactive Zombie Apocalypse Experience takes place from 6 p.m. to midnight every Friday starting on March 14. Upon entering, players join the Zombie Assault Team of zombie killers. Their mission: to clear infected zones 1 through 4 while putting down as many zombies as possible. Before they head out, participants gear up with a masked safety helmet, paintballs, and a Tippman 98 custom paintball marker. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and footwear, and those who wear glasses should either wear contacts for the experience or make sure their frames will fit inside the helmet. All participants should call ahead to make a reservation and must be 10 years or older.

In addition to entry, VIP ticket holders receive free shuttle transportation to and from the arena. Shuttles run once per hour from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., and stop at two designated locations: the Zombie Apocalypse store, and in front of Macy’s at Fashion Show Mall.

At Combat Zone Paintball, four obstacle-spattered outdoor fields provide a cardio-packed challenge for beginner to advanced paint slingers. After staff members equip players with a full set of rental equipment and perform an inspirational interpretive dance, teams swarm the battlefield, where bunkers, sandbags, and wooden shelters provide cover from the raining barrage of paint.
