Blink-and-miss-‘em illusions and a wicked wit fuel Nathan Burton’s lightning-paced showcase of teleportation and transformation. As seen on the first and fourth seasons of America’s Got Talent, Burton has unlocked the secrets of self-levitation, dematerialization, and appearing simultaneously in homes across the country. Whether slicing up showgirls or throwing himself in the microwave, the old-school showman excels at visual gags and moderately risqué, though family-friendly, one-liners. Elaborate props, high-energy music, and a bevy of lovely assistants add to the spectacle.

$10 for one ticket to Marc Savard Comedy Hypnosis (up to $51.22 value)
When: Saturday–Thursday at 10 p.m.
Where: V Theater
General admission seating
Door time: 9:30 p.m.
Full offer value includes ticketing fees
Marc Savard, cofounder of the International Institute of Hypnosis, mystifies audiences of his stage show through a unique blend of comedy and hypnotism. Savard begins his 75-minute interactive performance by bringing volunteer audience members to the stage and using his combined powers of hypnosis, suggestion, and sad puppy-dog faces to seduce subjects into following his comedic whims. Funny bones get a full workout as Savard leads his subjects through a series of gags; past bits have included making audience members think their belts are live snakes, having them pose for an “adult” photo shoot, and even having them slow-dance with a mop. For those not brought on stage, the V Theater quenches thirst with a full bar and cocktail service, as well as an obliging team of ushers armed with Super Soakers.
