Bellagio Fountains Japanese Kabuki Show (August 14-16)

On August 14-16, 2015, the world-famous Fountains of Bellagio are introducing made-for-Las Vegas Strip production of Japanese Kabuki Art.  This very limited time engagement will involve a battle scene played out through a 165-foot stage on the the Lakes of Bellagio, where the Japanese Actor, Ichiwaka Somegoro will present of a spectacle of Koi Tsukami or “Fight With a Carp”.  As noted with an artists rendition above, an elaborate light display will be projected onto the Fountains of Bellagio as part of the performance.

There will be a total of 5 – 30 minute shows available, and the schedule will run as follows:

  • August 14, 2015 – 9:15 p.m.
  • August 15, 2015 – 9:15 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
  • August 16, 2015 – 9:15 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.

As part of MGM Resorts’ celebration of Japanese culture, this Kabuki show will also be paired with a special Japanese-inspired display of sculptures and art at the Botanical Gardens at the Bellagio Conservatory.
